Father Francis has been assisting at the Congregation of Christ the King in Lafayette, LA since April 2004. He was born in Lafayette and is a graduate of Cathedral Carmel High School. After one year at the University of Dallas, he entered into the Franciscan Formation in 1980 with Fr Louis Vezelis and the Franciscan Friars in Rochester NY. He was ordained in 1985 and finished his formal studies in 1986. Amongst his duties, he was privileged to get to know ArchBishop Ngô Đình Thục…who pledged to preserve the sacraments for the future by consecrating Catholic Bishops. With integrity and faithfulness, the good bishop heartened a new generation of Faithful clergy. Since his first assignment in Phoenix, AZ, Father Miller has worked in churches and missions in Ohio, Kentucky, Arizona, Oregon, Florida, and five missions across the Gulf States. He was recently elected to oversee a small Franciscan community of fifteen Friars in formation in Brazil.
